Holiday and Short-Stay Apartments in Ocean Heights, Dubai Marina
Ocean Heights is a tall residential tower in Dubai Marina, built by DAMAC. People live here year-round, so it feels like an apartment building rather than a hotel. There's no lobby bar or room service, but there is a lot of space and a decent list of shared facilities downstairs.
Some of the flats in this tower are ones we look after for holiday and short-stay guests. This page covers what the building is actually like to stay in, the kind of apartments we have, and who we think will get the most out of it.

Nightly prices are before taxes: 5% VAT and, in Dubai, the Tourism Dirham fee are added and listed line by line before you send a request. A refundable security deposit may apply.

Life inside the tower
The facilities are the main reason to pick Ocean Heights over a plainer block. There's an outdoor pool for the cooler months and an indoor pool for when the midday heat makes sitting outside a bad idea. Add a steam room, a sauna and a spa, and you have a proper option for a lazy afternoon without leaving the building.
There's also a gym, so you can keep your routine going. The residents' lounge and an indoor games area give you somewhere to go besides the apartment. Outside, a BBQ area suits a relaxed evening with your group.
Security is on 24 hours a day, and the building has allocated parking. That's handy if you're hiring a car for trips out of the Marina. One honest point: this is a busy residential tower, so lifts and shared spaces are used by people going about normal lives, not just holidaymakers.
Our apartments here
Our mix in Ocean Heights runs to one-bedrooms and larger three-bedrooms. You won't find small studios here. Even the one-bedrooms are generous, and the three-bedrooms are big enough that a family or a couple of families can spread out without tripping over each other's suitcases.
Each apartment is furnished and set up differently, so look at the live list on this page for the details of each one. If you can't tell which would suit you, send us your dates and who's coming, and we'll point you in the right direction.
Who it suits
Ocean Heights works best for families and groups who want room and something to do on site. The kids' play area, the indoor pool and the games room make it easier to fill a hot afternoon with children. Couples and solo travellers on a longer stay may like the one-bedrooms, with a gym and sauna downstairs. If you want a hotel-style experience with staff on hand all day, this isn't it.
Questions people ask
Is Ocean Heights good for children?
Yes, more than many Marina towers. There's a kids' play area, an indoor games area and an indoor pool, which helps when it's too hot to be outside. Children should always be supervised around the pools.
Can we park a car at the building?
The building has allocated parking. Planning to hire a car? Mention it alongside your dates, so the parking arrangement for that particular apartment can be confirmed before you arrive.
Is there anything to do in the building on a very hot day?
Plenty. You can swim in the indoor pool, use the steam room, sauna or spa, train in the gym, or spend time in the residents' lounge and games area. It's one of the better towers for staying in when the weather isn't on your side.
